3 months agoWe stayed six nights at Le 36 and can only confirm the praise given to the charming owners. The welcome is warm and very friendly, the house is superb and all the rooms are tastefully decorated, and the huge, magnificent garden is a real haven of peace. Everything has been thought out down to the smallest detail to satisfy even the most demanding guests. The property is perfectly maintained and impeccably clean. Emmanuelle and Stéphane's kindness and sincere goodwill know no bounds; they bend over backwards to meet your every need and don't hesitate to devote time and energy to doing so. Nothing is too much trouble, even if it means getting up in the early hours to prepare one of their delicious breakfasts on the day of our departure. Thank you, Emmanuelle and Stéphane. If we ever return to Île de Ré, we won't hesitate for a second. Le 36 has become our benchmark for the very best. Ann & Bob

4 months agoExcellent 7-night stay at 36. The magnificent house, located less than a 10-minute walk from the port and the center of the authentic village of La Flotte, is very pleasant, very well organized, and absolutely EVERYTHING is high quality and well thought out for our well-being: a 29°C swimming pool, freshly squeezed orange juice, finely chopped fresh fruit salad, homemade pastries... every morning for breakfast + unlimited snacks and drinks throughout the day, the linen smells wonderful... The bike service allows you to enjoyably visit (no fatigue with the electric bikes) a good part of the island without having to take the car, which is safely parked on the property. The added bonus is, of course, the exceptional welcome from the hosts: Emmanuelle & Stéphane, who, with their wise advice and attentive listening, have reconciled us with tourism in France.
