La Campanule is a charming, spacious vacation home on two levels. The combination of the Dordogne's characteristic yellow stone, wooden beams and abundant natural light creates a rustic yet bright atmosphere. The sunny terrace, privacy and Jacuzzi make it an ideal place to relax.
On the first floor is the living room with a cosy sitting area, TV (FR/EN) with Netflix, HBO+, Disney and a kitchen with a high bar table.
Just a stone's throw from the village is the La Merenda restaurant, renowned for its local cuisine and excellent pizzas. The area also offers a wide choice of other restaurants, all tempting, but a home-cooked meal is also easy to prepare. A gas barbecue is available on the terrace, or you can cook in the fully equipped kitchen, which includes:

- Refrigerator with freezer compartment
- Dishwasher
On the first floor is the first bedroom (without air-conditioning) with a queen-size bed (160×200) and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and WC.
Upstairs, under the charming old beams, you'll find a queen-size double bedroom (160×200) and a twin bedroom (90×190 bed), both with air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms with shower and WC. As is often the case in this type of old house, the washbasins are in the rooms themselves.
The raised terrace overlooks the pool and orchard, enjoying the last rays of sunshine - ideal for long evenings al fresco. It is equipped with a large table, chairs and a gas barbecue.
Using the jacuzzi

All the gîtes at Domaine Le Jardin Des Amis in Meyrals share access to the heated, fenced swimming pool (open in season), the vast park and the surrounding forest. one month agoWhat a charming place to stay! The peace and quiet, the space around the gîtes and the multitude of activities to do in the surrounding area. An ideal base for exploring the region. Mark and Arwen go out of their way to make you feel at home. Everything you need is available in the gite, even in cool weather. The shower and the bed are excellent, which is of the utmost importance to me. In short, if you're looking for a place to recharge your batteries, this is it.

3 months agoThe week after Christmas, we spent a family holiday at Gîte Le Bluette. It was wonderfully warm, with the stove and the gîte atmosphere. The beds were new and very comfortable. Mark and Arwen are very welcoming, and Arwen has thought of everything! She even had craft materials and games ready!

4 months agoI spent a wonderful week with a very welcoming family. The gîte was very comfortable, cosy and spotlessly clean. You could really feel that everything had been thought through to the last detail. The place is beautiful; there's so much to see that I'd definitely come back. Between forest walks, castle visits and the local Christmas market, there's so much more to discover. In a word: magnificent.
