8 km from Hautefort, this gîte welcomes you to a peaceful setting in the heart of the Périgord countryside. It's the ideal place to stay for two, away from the hustle and bustle, just 10 minutes from the Château de Hautefort.
The 30 m² studio offers every comfort. Under the large velux window, you can admire the stars from your bed before a peaceful night's sleep. In the morning, enjoy your coffee or tea in the sun on the small adjoining terrace, surrounded by nature and birdsong.
Just 150 m away, a large, private, covered terrace awaits you, with a beautiful view over the countryside. Here you can read, relax, have lunch or dinner, and enjoy the sunsets.
Hiking enthusiasts will find numerous trails in the vicinity, with more or less challenging routes. The region also offers the chance to discover beautiful villages, remarkable châteaux and must-see sites: Commarque, Castelnaud, Biron, the Maison Forte de Reignac, the Château des Milandes, the Lascaux IV caves 25 minutes away, or the Tourtoirac caves 20 minutes away.
Covered parking is available on site, and is also convenient for bicycles. Sheets are provided, with the bed made up on arrival in organic cotton linen, as well as 100 % cotton towels. A small grocery store selling local produce is also available at extra cost, with wine, champagne, beers and aperitif boards.
The apartment is reached after 3 small steps. It comprises a living area with kitchen and dining area, separated from the sleeping area by the roof structure. On the night side, you'll find a double bed (160×200), storage space, shower, vanity unit and separate WC.

one month agoGo for it without hesitation! This place is a little slice of heaven on earth! The location is a great starting point for sightseeing. The cottage is magnificent, tastefully decorated, and has everything you need. The panoramic garden offers a breathtaking view where you can admire stunning sunsets. But it’s just as perfect for a quiet moment, like reading in the shade of a tree... The hosts, Hélène and Fred—what can I say except that their hospitality is perfect! You are exceptionally kind and generous; you’ve made your little corner of paradise feel like our own! Mission accomplished! I highly recommend your cottage—it deserves 5 stars because you can’t give more than that.
