one year agoWe spent a weekend with friends at this vacation rental. It was definitely the best rental experience we’ve had in the last five years! 1/ The location: the cottage is situated on the edge of the Brotonne Forest; it’s an ideal setting whether you want to relax, walk/run, go mountain biking, explore nature... In short, very pleasant. 2/ The house / cottage: large, very functional rooms (living room, dining room, kitchen), a laundry room, 3 beautiful bedrooms, 1 bathroom + 2 separate toilets, and the best part if you have kids: a playroom. A beautiful forest cottage, completely and tastefully renovated with high-quality materials 3/ Furnishings / amenities: furnished in a "wood" style that fits perfectly with the surroundings, very well equipped (right down to the multi-cooker and the recipes that go with it)—we really didn’t lack for anything! Even the books in the library and the board games are great. The Wi-Fi works well. 4/ The welcome / the hosts: Emmanuel and Julie do everything to make you feel at home. Communication beforehand is smooth, and the welcome at the cottage is warm and friendly. They prepared a practical and comprehensive tourist guide and even tailored it to inform us about activities planned for our weekend. Kudos! 5/ The booking: we booked through a well-known platform, one that’s under scrutiny by public policy makers in major cities. That’s surely our only regret! If we had booked directly (or through the Seine-Maritime Tourism website), we would have saved everyone fees and commissions. In summary: it truly deserves 5 stars, without any hype or smoke and mirrors. It’s beautiful, well-maintained, and pleasant.
