Le Mas des Bardes is ideally located between Avignon, L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, and Carpentras (15 minutes from each of these destinations). Mont Ventoux, the Luberon, the Alpilles, and the Dentelles de Montmirail form the backdrop to the area, perfect for exploring on foot, by bike, or by car. You can thus alternate between the bustling atmosphere of the beautiful nearby towns, their shops, and their festivals, and the serenity of your cottage. This unique location will give you plenty of time to visit the charming villages of Provence and their colorful markets, the Côtes du Rhône wine route, and the region’s rich cultural and natural heritage.
Each cottage is self-contained (3 cottages for 2 people, maximum 6 adults) and features its own private terrace. But you can also enjoy the shared terrace overlooking the garden and pool, a place for socializing and relaxation, or join our weekly dinner service featuring local ingredients and traditional regional recipes. The 3 cottages are also ideal for a group of friends to rent together.
The tree-lined garden invites you to relax on the lounge chairs under the beautiful Provençal sun after a swim in the pool, or to read a book in the shade of the magnificent white poplars while listening to the gentle gurgling of the fountain.

less than a week agoOnze ervaring bij Le Mas de Bades was in één woord perfect; een dikke 10! Gastvrouw Laurence heeft werkelijk aan alles gedacht, we hebben werkelijk niks gemist. Wij verbleven in gîte Luberon en deze was top: heerlijk koel te houden dankzij de luiken en de airco. Er zijn in totaal drie gîtes, elk met een eigen privéterras en eigen ligbedden bij het zwembad. De prachtige, grote tuin met bloeiende oleanders en een heerlijk verkoelende grote boom (inclusief hangmat!) deel je met de weinige andere gasten. Het zwembad is heerlijk verfrissend en groot genoeg voor iedereen. Het enige geluid dat je hier hoort is het gezang van de krekels. De rust is zalig, een waar paradijs! Ook de omgeving is fantastisch. Er is meer dan genoeg te beleven: prachtige middeleeuwse dorpjes, de indrukwekkende stad Avignon, kanoën op de Sorgue of fietsen tussen de lavendelvelden. Voor de praktische zaken ligt de supermarkt op slechts 5 minuten rijden, en als je geen zin hebt om te koken zijn er genoeg leuke restaurantjes in de buurt. Kortom: wil je verblijven in de Provence nabij Avignon en Pernes-les-Fontaines? Dan raad ik Le Mas de Bades echt van harte aan! Franse groet, Martin & Marinka

one month agoNous avons passé un agréable séjour accueillis par Laurence, le logement (Les Alpilles) était propre et très confortable. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine qui était rafraîchissante !
