- A quick introduction: Alice and Gaël—a combination of our two first names (a nickname given to us by a cousin)
which is how the bed-and-breakfast got its name, Chez Galice—opened in January 2020, with its first reservation on February 22, 2020. Why did we choose this country house? We fell in love with this house at first sight. As the story goes, on our wedding day in October 2002, we took our wedding photos in the courtyard of this very house. The opportunity presented itself, and here we are— “Chez Galice” was born. We’re happy to welcome you to our guesthouse and hope that you, too, will fall in love with this house located on the edge of a wood. You’re sure to find peace, quiet, and serenity—at least, that’s what we hope for you. The cottage will not be rented out for overly rowdy parties; if we discover it was rented for that purpose, a flat fee of €100 will be deducted from the security deposit check to cover cleaning costs. We’re sorry, but we’ve had far too many unpleasant surprises. Pets are allowed, but an ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEE OF €50 is required.
