For your comfort, we offer 2 spacious and comfortable suites, each approximately 30 m², with a bathroom and separate toilet, that can accommodate 1 to 8 people (4 people per suite). Breakfast is a time for socializing over local products, often homemade and, whenever possible, organic. Our baker offers excellent breads made with natural sourdough.
As La Rochelle Ambassadors with the Tourist Office, our extensive knowledge of this thousand-year-old city allows us, if you wish, to assist you in planning your stay; we can also provide you with the necessary information to help you organize it and, if desired, suggest some sightseeing tours.

Can we come without a car?
Yes, the TGV takes you directly to the station in the city center. If we’re available, we could possibly pick you up at the station. Another option: If we’re available, we’ll pick you up at the station and take your luggage while you pick up the bikes you’ve already rented, and then we’ll meet up at the bed-and-breakfast. When you arrive at the station, we’ll give you a map. Public transportation is well-organized from the SNCF station to Place de Verdun, one of the city’s bus stations.

Is smoking allowed at this establishment?
Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the house and in the bedrooms. The patio is available for your use.
How does the reservation process work?
To make a reservation, please contact the owner by phone or in writing and provide your contact information. We will contact you as soon as possible to finalize your reservation. Once confirmed, you will be asked to pay a deposit.
Are we far from the very center of the city?
No, it’s a maximum of 15 minutes on foot to the cathedral (via the parks) and Place de Verdun, one of La Rochelle’s bus stations. The Place de Verdun parking lot is less than a 5-minute drive away; we recommend either walking through the parks or taking public transportation, which is right next to the Les 3 Tilleuls bed-and-breakfast. Once at the parking lot, a free shuttle runs through the city center, departing approximately every 10 minutes. Once at the parking lot, you’ll want to take a stroll under the arcades!

one month agoWe had a wonderful stay with Chantal and John in the heart of La Rochelle—a quiet location where you can do everything on foot; everything is right there: superb bedrooms and bathrooms, beautifully designed; a lovely and peaceful garden; a warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere throughout our stay, their knowledge of La Rochelle and the surrounding area to guide us and help us make the most of our time there, and very generous, delicious, homemade breakfasts, Charming hosts—a successful vacation. one month agoWe stayed three nights with Chantal and John, and it was a wonderful experience—the rooms were very spacious and clean. The bed-and-breakfast is in a great location, just a 15-minute walk from downtown, and has a very pleasant garden. Breakfast featured a variety of high-quality, delicious items. Chantal and John are lovely—we felt right at home immediately. The prices are very reasonable compared to what’s typical in La Rochelle. Best of luck to you both. 2 months agoThe suites are very spacious and well laid out to ensure privacy. The location is ideal because it’s very easy to get to downtown. As for the hospitality, it’s second to none. This is definitely a place to add to your travel journal.
