History and formation of Lake Montriond

Visit Lake Montriond is a natural lakeformed several thousand years ago as the result of a rockfall which blocked the course of a torrent. Once ignored and marshy, it has been built in the XIXᵉ century to become one of the most visited natural sites in the Morzine area.
