  • Since January 1, 2021, access to Mont Saint-Michel by car has been restricted to authorized shuttles, pedestrians and cyclists.
  • You must therefore park your car in the visitor parking lots located 2.7 km from the Mont.
  • The parking lots are open 24/7.

Parking rates

  • Parking rates vary according to season and vehicle type.
  • In high season (April 1 to September 30), charge €9.80 for a car and €6.20 for a motorcycle.
  • Low season (October 1 to March 31), the rate is €6.80 for a car and €4.30 for a motorcycle.
  • Parking is free from 6.30pm in low and mid season.

Payment:

  • Payment is made at an automatic pay station at the parking lot entrance or exit.
  • You can also buy your ticket online in advance.

Mont Saint Michel shuttle - free transport from the parking lot to the foot of the Mont

  • Free shuttle buses run from the parking lots to Mont Saint-Michel every 15 minutes.
  • The journey takes about 10 minutes.
  • Disabled parking is available.
  • Luggage lockers are also available at the Mont entrance.

  • In high season, we recommend arriving early in the morning or mid-afternoon to avoid traffic jams.
  • You can reserve your parking space online in advance.
