Tahiti – Raguénez beach is certainly the most beautiful beach in the commune of Névez, not far ahead of Port Manec’h beach and Rospico beach. It’s an ideal spot for swimming in the turquoise waters, fishing or sunbathing with the whole family. Your children can also build sand castles, play volleyball… The beach stretches over 1000 m, and even at the height of the season, there’s plenty of room for everyone.

How to access the Tahiti – Raguénez page?

You can reach it easily from the town of Névez, or from the village of Raguénez or Kerstalen, either on foot, by bike or by car. The beach is not far from the small, thatched village of Kercanic. So you can get there on foot, by bike, by bus, by cab or by car.

You can also get there in just a few minutes from the pointe de Trévignon, along the coast.

Where to park near Tahiti beach – Raguénez?

You can park in the parking lot to the south of the Raguénez plain, at the end of a cul-de-sac through the village of Kerstalen. Parking is free of charge.

What to do near Tahiti beach – Raguénez?

From the beach, you can easily get to the Pointe de Trévignon, and enjoy its beaches and marina, where you can set sail for the Glénan archipelago. You can also easily drive a few minutes to the Dourvei beach or even the Kersidan beach, for windsurfing and kite surfing, for example.

Not far from Raguénez beach, you can visit the typical village of Kercanic (thatched cottage village), as well as Kerascoet.

You can take a walk along the coastal path (also known as the GR 34), which overlooks the ocean, to Rospico beach, then on to Port Manec’h, where you can also take advantage of the sailing centers, or enjoy a drink.

You can also take a bike ride along the Névezienne circuit, which allows you to discover the commune of Névez and its most beautiful cultural and landscape assets.

The city of Névez is known for its fine sandy beaches and its unspoilt blue waters. It is ideally located between Trégunc and Pont-Aven.

Port Manech

Port Manec’h is a village in the commune of Névez, at the mouth of the river Aven. It boasts a beautiful beach, with a breathtaking view over the mouths of the Aven and Belon rivers, and a port that was once home to sardine fishermen. Port Manech had its heyday during the Belle Epoque, and there are still wooden bathing cabins to bear witness to this glorious past.

Here again, a very well-known painter, Paul Gauguin, liked to come and paint fishermen or women in Breton headdresses; when he was staying at Pont-Aven.
