The tombs, often lined up head-on to the west, are composed of long headstones in the shape of a sarcophagisometimes decorated with simple moldings. A single wrought-iron cross has been recorded here.. Numerous hollyhocks enhance the site, in harmony with the peaceful spirit of the place and the village's architecture..

Ce que nous voyons aujourd’hui est ce qui subsiste de l’ancien cimetière médiéval, qui entourait les églises saintongeaises.
